I know. In NLP, we welcome changes, even if for the worse – since then, at least, we know which way we’re heading, and we’re, again – at least, moving.
But how do you make the process less painful? less disturbing? how do you take the discomfort out of it?
You need to adapt, on purpose, and faster.
Here’s a manifesto, written for business people originally, but the ideas in it can serve and teach anyone, just change the word “business” to “life”.
Here’s a quote:
Aikido masters say that to be successful in life, three kinds of mastery are required: mastery with self, which means understanding our feelings and thoughts and how to regulate and direct them; mastery with others, which means being able to create shared understanding and shared action, and; mastery with change, which means having the capacity to adapt easily without losing our center—our values, talents, and sense of purpose. I’m talking here about the third. And here is the manifesto.
There is only a blank page “and here is the manifesto” on my computer
Try to Right-Click with the mouse and choose “Save As…”. It’s a PDF file.
