I am a NLP beginner but opted for “The Big Book” a few months ago. I thought I may eventually get the beginners book. My older NLP workbook is hard to get through and I was wanting just the basics, so this will help.
Thanks for making both books affordable. Nice choice of a butterfly for the cover too.
Edward, NLP For Beginners is a thorough overview of NLP, from basic to intermediate level. I can estimate that once you read about half of it, the big book would be much easier to understand.
I’m also interested in your new book: Pain Away. I have an intro book to Medical NLP (I’m a registered nurse), which I just purchased. There’s a few pages on pain, so wondering just what your book covers. Any chance I can get an overview? Thanks!
The differences are minor. It went through some editing and added a few illustrations. The big difference is the layout (page count and size), but the content is quite the same.
If you already have the first edition, you don’t need the 2nd, in my opinion.
The Big Book of NLP Techniques is more for existing NLP Practitioners, or those who already utilise NLP patterns for beavioural change. Think of it more as a recipie book for people who already have culinary training.
If you are new to NLP you will want to begin at the beginning, won’t you? NLP for Beginners is a perfect place to start your journey toward the most delectable culinary delights.
Finally had the opportunity to order this morning and can’t wait to get it. I have been able to learn some of the more basic techniques in The Big Book, but this will help me move forward with greater understanding. Thanks for putting out the updated 2nd edition.

Just curious, after learning this book, will I be able to get through the big book without much difficulty?
Debbie, thanks for the compliments.

Hi,
What are some differences between the 1st and 2nd edition of “NLP for Beginners”?
